Geometric mirror

This very special artwork provides the ability to see the mirror supplemented by the artist. In particular, asymmetrical transformations of the lines’ width and colors create the variety light lumens. Intensity of the lines predicts the facial expressions.

Goemetrics

Geometrics combines and divides classical geometrical figures. The painting has an effect of a simple visual illusion, as the space seems to be distorted. Moreover, it appears to be in slight motion. Especially the artwork consists of several layers with different figures, that intersect.

The works by Yaacov Agam are placed in many significant places and emphasize them, for example, Fountain in Dizengoff Square or Facade of Dan Hotel in Tel-Aviv. Also, he designed the world’s largest Menorah. Installed at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 59th Street in New York City it fills with lights every year during Hanukkah.
